Welcome to the La Jolla Indian Campground. We thank you for your interest in our campground.The campground is shaded with oak trees, abundant wild flowers, sage and other indigenous plants. Among others found at La Jolla are roots, berries, seeds, small and large game, such as rabbit, deer and wild turkeys. The San Luis Rey River runs through our campground. Spend a day of tubing down our river. You will enjoy our scenic beauty and tranquil campground. We offer day passes or overnight camping. We also provide group camping, ideal for Birthday parties, Church Groups, Girl/Boy Scout outings, family reunions or family/friends gatherings. The campground offers 36 R.V. campsites with electric and water hookups as. Our campground is conveniently located in a central location for San Diego (45 minutes) and Los Angeles (1 hour 15 minutes). The campground is at the base of Palomar Mountain, off the 76 Hwy. Please help in the care and respect of our Reservation. We look forward to your visit and hope you enjoy your stay. The La Jolla Indian campground is part of the La Jolla Indian Reservation, a federal reservation of Luiseño Indians.
